Or maybe the Royal Wedding? I wish! Instead, I’ll be staying up and watching the wedding at home – but, after all the wedding excitement subsides, I’ll be dancing and drinking derby-themed drinks at a pre-derby party. This, and the Gold Cup races, are two of my favorite events of the year, and both call for fabulous hats! This year, I’m swapping my big floppy hat for the fascinator, inspired by Kate Middleton of course.

Want more hat inspiration? See Sorellina’s post on the fascinator and Rock Paper Scissors’ post dedicated to hats! I also enjoyed Kelley Moore’s post with ideas that translate from weddings to dinner parties. I know, I know – there’s SO much wedding talk… but it will be over soon! And then what will we discuss!

Love the first outfit, though I had a hard time deciding that was my favorite. Have fun at your party!
