“This life is what you make it. No matter what, you are going to mess it up sometimes, it’s a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up… So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.” – Marilyn Monroe

One Year Blogiversary!

Eeek! So Much to Smile About officially turns ONE today! I am so thankful for the support I’ve had over the past year I can’t even begin to explain – when I started this a year ago, I had no idea what an amazing experience it would be and I’m so excited about what the future holds! To celebrate, I’m giving away a DOZEN cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake (home of the TLC show DC Cupcakes)! Because what would a celebration be without sweets? You can pick whatever kind you want and they can be delivered anywhere – just “like” So Much to Smile About on Facebook and leave a comment below!

I really wish I could gift cupcakes and champagne to everyone, but I was thinking of you while popping some bubbly in the park (I swear)!

Wearing: vintage Dior blouse from Miskabelle, Gap skirt, Banana Republic heels, Rebecca Minkoff bag, Michael Kors watch, JewelMint bracelet, and friendship bracelets from the incredibly sweet Rosa – visit her blog! Also, HUGE thanks to Casie for taking the beautiful photos! She’s incredibly talented and runs an amazing blog – check it out!

For extra entries, tweet about the giveaway (however you like) and leave another comment telling me you did! I’ll announce the random winner one week from today, on August 23rd.

This blog has become one of the dearest things to my heart and so much of that is due to the encouragement from old friends and the new relationships I’ve formed with readers and other bloggers. Thank you for visiting and making me smile every day!

P.S. there are more photos on facebook!
