In an attempt to distract myself from the Packer loss tonight, I’m getting into some Golden Globe analysis, which I don’t normally do. But I do enjoy award shows – for the red carpet and the actual shows themselves. I’m always reminded of how many movies and shows I need to add to my list to see! And of course, it’s fun to see what everyone wears. This time around, there seemed to be a lot of 20s glamour, fishtails, and blush/neutral/nude shades. There was some color I enjoyed (Paula Patton in Monique Lhuillier, Berenice Bejo in Gucci) but my favorites were the neutral and darker gowns on the ladies below.
Shailene Woodley (Marchesa), Kate Beckinsale (Roberto Cavalli)
Angelina Jolie (Atelier Versace), Charlize Theron (Christian Dior)
Rooney Mara (Nina Ricci), Salma Hayek (Gucci)
Claire Danes (J. Mendel), Emma Stone (Lanvin)
Did you watch? Fall in love with a dress? Or wish you’d seen something else?
