on February 22nd, 2012I know colored denim is nothing new by now, but since I just got my first pair of colored jeans (cobalt – my fave, c/o Rock & Republic for Kohl’s) I’ve been loving the trend even more! Especially for spring, colored denim will be my go-to piece for a fun pop of color (and we all know I need it)! I love cobalt or bold red with neutral tees or a fun blazer – or even a printed top like the polka dots below or some colorblocking if I’m feeling especially daring! Since the Rock & Republic Hamburg Skinny Crop Jeans are just $55 each, I plan on adding the white and “cherry bomb” colors to my wardrobe asap! My cobalt pair fits amazingly well (perfect amount of stretch, length – not easy for me to find!). Will you be doing some shopping for colored denim? What styles are you loving?

Apparently today is “post about colored pants” wednesday! I wrote a post on it and I’ve seen 3 or 4 others :). No worries however because I am LOVING this trend and am so excited to buy a whole slew of colors!! I’ll have to look into these Rock & Republic ones!

Lovely colors! Jeans in such a fabulous look has been presented for the first time I believe. Although spring is almost half a dozen months away, I am looking forward to hitting the town in those bright colored jeans in pink, orange and electric blue. The advantage of such shocking colored bottoms is that you can mix match any top with them to get that oomph look.
