I know just last month I posted on my spring skincare must-haves, but I already have some new faves to add to that list! For starters, I’ve been a fan of Dr. Perricone products for a bit (seriously great face wash), and just discovered SUPER, a skincare line by Dr. Perricone that utilizes the “power of Superfoods” to encourage “healthy aging and overall radiance.” All the SUPER products I’ve tried feel really fresh – even though it’s a dermatologist-created line, they don’t really use chemicals. For example, the Clarifying Activator Treatment Prep uses quercetin from apples to prevent blemishes. I use it after I wash my face and it’s already replaced my old toner. Plus, I’m using the 3-Minute Facial Intensive Treatment and the Tinted Moisturizer regularly now – and when I was traveling last week, the Detox Elixir Hydrating Mist totally refreshed my skin after my flights.
Speaking of travel, when preparing for Marta’s wedding, the Dr. Dennis Gross’ Alpha Beta Glow Pad for body helped give me a bit of tan (and exfoliate and firm and smooth skin and help reduce hair growth – amazing, right?). You know I love the glow pads for the face, and the body version is just as great. Not only do the tanning pads also help reduce how often you shave, but I really appreciated the benefit of smoothing my skin. As I said before, nothing beats DermaDoctor for smoothing the bumps on my arms, but combine that with the glow pads and a great lotion (see below) and I’m totally set for summer skin.
Finally, if I were going to recommend a lotion right now, it would be Kiehl’s Creme de Corps body moisturizer hands down. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this product before! I’m also loving the Clearly Corrective dark spot solution for evening skin tone and diminishing dark spots. And just in time for summer, there is a brand new (and gorgeous) Kiehl’s store opening in Virginia! If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by the Kiehl’s Tysons Corner Center to check out their latest products.
Have you discovered any great new products recently? Keep the recommendations coming my way, I’m on a roll (my skin thanks you)!
Disclosure: Some of these products were sent to me as gifts – but I purchased some myself as well. As always, it’s very important to me that I offer honest reviews to you and only write about products that I like and fully endorse.
