“This life is what you make it. No matter what, you are going to mess it up sometimes, it’s a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up… So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.” – Marilyn Monroe

Kiehl’s LifeRide For amfAR!

Last night I stopped by the Kiehl’s store in Georgetown for the official culmination of the third annual Kiehl’s LifeRide for amfAR, a ten-day motorcycle ride to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS research and resources and celebrating the International AIDS Conference staging in the US for the first time in 22 years. Guests included Kiehl’s President Chris Salgardo, amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost, and actors Sharon Stone, Josh Corbett, Tyson Beckford, Gilles Marini and more. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more gorgeous group of motorcyclists! That, plus such an important cause, made for a pretty perfect evening.

In celebration of LifeRide, Kiehl’s introduced a Limited Edition Active Lifestyle Essentials Kit, with 100% of Kiehl’s net profits from the sale of this product, up to $25,000, to benefit amfAR. The kit includes Kiehl’s new Eucalyptus Lip Relief, full-size bottles of Cross-Terrain All-In-One Refueling Wash, Ultra Facial Cream, Cross-Terrain UV Face Protector SPF 50, Facial Fuel Eye De-Puffer, and deluxe samples of Creme de Corps, Ultimate Strength Hand Salve, and Midnight Recovery Concentrate. It features a specially-designed tattoo-inspired motif for the ride and retails for $74.00 at Kiehl’s stores nationwide and at Kiehls.com.

Additionally, Kiehl’s will offer a Celebration Discount of 15% off all purchases online at Kiehls.com July 22 & 23. Simply enter the code LIFERIDE at checkout.  For every customer that joins us, Kiehl’s will donate $5 to amfAR.
