I got to NYC on Tuesday in time for dinner at Hundred Acres in Soho and a Go Try It On launch party at the Cut25 store, then spent the next day at the Lucky FABB conference and my evening at Beaumarchais for dinner with Glam and some fabulous bloggers. So when I got up Thursday morning, I was beyond ready to head to the tents – and the BCBG Max Azria show was my first of the week!
And what a start to the week! I thought the collection was really amazing. Soft, lingerie-like dresses paired with tough, leather harnesses – inspired by the femme fatale muses and high contrast of Helmut Newton’s black & white photography. I loved the lace details, pops of coral color, and graphic lines. Plus, the longer lengths and breezy silhouettes were sexy and still somehow so ladylike. And how fun is it that you can take off the harnesses and get an entirely new look? As many have already pointed out, it seems that Max and Lubov Azria created quite the 50 Shades inspired collection, and I dig it.

So not my style but I love it all! Especially the one are the far right. Your NYFW coverage is the best!
That coral dress is amazing. It feels very sporty glam!
