I love spring beauty! Seriously, with warmer weather, it’s time to shed the winter dreariness and embrace the fresh faced, bright lipped looks for spring. So I’ve outlined my favorite spring beauty trends and the products I’m currently obsessing over – I’ve tried them all and am telling you, spring is looking amazing.

lipstick / foundation / eyeliner / hairspray / root lift spray / brow and hair color / bronzer / bag / brow kit
Matte lips (like at Missoni) are going to be everywhere this spring, especially in bright, bold colors. Just ask beauty-guru Lara if you don’t believe me! We are both huge fans of Bite Beauty lipsticks and these new matte colors are absolutely perfect for spring (they apply flawlessly and the bold color doesn’t fade!). This might be my single most favorite product for spring.
Bold brows are also definitely here to stay (seen at Marc Jacobs, Versace, Zac Posen and more). I’m still loving Billion Dollar Brows products (click here for my how-to guide for bold brows) but this ‘Bold & Beautiful‘ brow kit looks great as well.
When Oscar de la Renta added bold pops of color to the hair of his models, I knew this was a look we’d be seeing more of. If you are feeling sassy, give the look a try with Anastasia Beverly Hills Hypercolor Brow and Hair Powder collection (they can also be used as liner or eyeshadow). Read Kara’s post for more info (she loves this product too).
Speaking of hair, I’m loving the new line, Rock Your Hair, which is all about volume. Don’t let the bedazzled exterior fool you – these are serious products. I’ve been using the root lift spray and hairspray daily and have been enjoying voluminous hair all day long.
It’s no secret I love to use a felt tip liquid eyeliner for a perfect winged liner look – but this new Covet eyeliner has me contemplating a switch! Plus, if you are feeling adventurous, try out a blue or green eyeliner this spring. The trend was all over the recent runways (like at Dior or Kenzo)!
Finally, a fresh face is always a great look for spring. Use a tinted moisturizer or light foundation, mostly around the nose and forehead, and follow up with concealer as necessary (I wholeheartedly recommend Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer). For foundation, I’m currently using CoverGirl + Olay foundation and serum in one, which leaves my skin feeling really fresh and healthy.
If you’re wondering about the lack of mascara on this list, it’s party because I’ve been using the same mascara for forever now, but also because lightly defined eyelashes are the trend this spring. No need for heavy lashes ladies!

Love me some bareMinerals and Bite Beauty!

I love the OlayxCovergirl foundation. It’s perfect! I like it because it covers like a foundation but feels like a BB cream or tinted moisturizer.
