“This life is what you make it. No matter what, you are going to mess it up sometimes, it’s a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up… So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.” – Marilyn Monroe

Target Style: Floral

It’s hard to write about florals for spring without thinking “groundbreaking!” but is there really anything more perfect for spring than floral? Whether it’s a bold print, delicate floral or rosette details, it’s such a great way to add a bit of sweetness to any spring look. I love the idea of a floral a-line skirt like this one, or even floral pumps! Or maybe it’s a floral scarf or bag – or a bold floral shirt paired with bright pants!

If you need some style/outfit inspiration for any floral pieces you have or are planning to purchase, I recommend checking out this earlier post on mixing prints, and this one with some ideas for how to wear floral pants and tops. And remember, it doesn’t have to be over-the-top girly. Try pairing a bold print floral look with sassy white heels, or a pretty floral dress with a leather jacket or booties. I also love the dress above and it’s fun cut-out details. Together with a denim jacket it would work for anything from brunch to a first date. Have I sold you yet? Think you’ll pick up some extra floral pieces this spring? Let me know what you’re planning, I’d love to know!

It’s Time for Springtime.
