So Much to Smile About is a Washington, DC-based fashion and lifestyle blog owned and edited by Liz Fassbender. Liz started So Much to Smile About in 2010 as a way to store and share fashion and beauty trends, personal outfits, street style inspiration, shopping picks (like her favorite finds under $50 and outfit ideas) and everything else that makes you smile. Since its inception, So Much to Smile About has been featured on multiple media outlets, including Refinery29, Fashion Washington Magazine, Guest of a Guest, Northern Virginia Magazine, and Washingtonian Magazine. Outside of her blog, Liz works in government relations by day, and spends her free time taking photos, throwing theme parties, brunching, shopping, and sipping champagne (click here for her DC guide). Before ending up in DC, she went to school in Nebraska and grew up in Wisconsin (and is a huge Green Bay Packer fan). She is also a fan of a smokey eye, nude lip, everything worn by Taylor Tomasi Hill or Emmanuelle Alt, Diane Von Furstenberg dresses, worn-in tees (especially T by Alexander Wang), skinny cropped pants, and the single sole stiletto.
