I should be sleeping right now, but I just got home from watching The Hunger Games in theaters and I thought I should get a post up now since I will probably be exhausted in the morning. If you’ve read the books, you’ll know how amazing they are – and the movie was amazing too. Not as good as the books, but only because there was no way they could fit everything in to the two or so hours you have for a movie. The acting was phenomenal (Jennifer Lawrence rocked it) and the costumes and scenery were great. There’s a few things I wish I could have seen more of, but nothing that didn’t feel right to me (I’d be interested to know what people thought who hadn’t read the books). And of course, it was so fun to line up with friends for the midnight showing!

There’s something about great fashion watches that can really pull an outfit together! And while I love my oversized Michael Kors one, but there are so many excellent options right now – colorful, white (perfect for spring/summer), two-tone, rose gold, tortoise shell, black (my latest obsession). By Liz, on March 20th, 2012 Normally when I think of tie dye, I think of my high school chemistry class or summer concerts – but when I spotted Olivia Palermo wearing a pair of tie dye jeans, it looked amazingly chic. And now that I’m paying attention, I’m seeing it more and more. Zara has some amazing pieces! What do you think – tie dye this spring?

There’s something about spring that brings out all the bold colors and sunny shades, and this spring will be no different! Whether it’s bright neons, jewel tones, citrus colors, or colorblocking, bold color is definitely on-trend right now, and there are lots of ways to wear it this spring. As I mentioned before, yellow and pink will be major colors this spring, but I’m also loving tangerine hues (thanks to Pantone’s color of 2012).
