Transitional Dressing with Sears

In my third and final post with Sears (compensation provided!), I’m talking about winter-to-spring dressing! Though it may seem crazy to talk about warmer weather just yet, it definitely makes sense that any purchases these next few months still work into spring. Luckily, I found a number of great pieces from Sears that do just this!

More Fall

There are seriously so many fall things I’m craving right now, it’s getting a little ridiculous. Cozy sweaters, lacy bralettes, new coats, puffy vests… plus, with the holiday weekend, most of the items below are on sale! Too bad I still have to go in to work on Monday, but hopefully some of you will get to enjoy a day off!

Gap Sweater / Aerie Bralette / Gap Coat / BaubleBar Earrings / J.Crew Jeans / Zara Scarf
J.Crew Vest / Backpack / J.Crew Cardigan / J.Crew Skirt / Rag & Bone Boots / Joie Shirt

Paris Part 2

As promised, I’m sharing a few more photos from Paris today! Because I was traveling alone (and take horrible selfies), I reached out to a photographer I had seen on a few other blogs (see this beauty and this one), and whose work I LOVED, to see if we could get together for a portrait session while I was in the city. Everyone – if you are in Paris, you must meet up with Katie of Katie Mitchell Photography! She made me feel completely comfortable and we had the best time wandering around Paris! I couldn’t be happier about how the photos turned out. So… who wants to move to Paris with me?

Banana Republic Fall

I’ve been a loyal fan of Banana Republic for some time now (evidence here and here) but I think this fall collection takes it to a whole new level (of note: J.Crew alum Marissa Webb was named the new creative director and executive vice president of design last spring). You can shop a few pieces early here, and the whole collection goes live tomorrow! Also, a couple weeks ago I picked up this skirt, this skirt, and these pumps, and am seriously obsessed. THANKS Banana Republic!

Forever 21 Tysons

Over the weekend, Forever 21 opened a newly remodeled and expanded store (over 26,627 square feet) at their Tyson’s Corner location (1961 Chain Bridge Rd). And it’s just in time for fall! I’m loving their fall collection (see below), which features trends like oversized, luxe boho, minimalist and textured, with lots of knits in camels and grays, plus prints. Also, don’t miss The Outerwear Edit, featuring Anja Rubik.

On the new store, Forever 21 General Merchandise Manager Linda Chang says, “Our remodeled and expanded location in Tyson’s Corner Center will continue to serve Forever 21 fans in the McLean, Virginia and greater Washington, DC area. The new store layout and overall concept will ensure the best shopping experience and environment for our customers.” Be sure to check it out!
