DC Fashion Events

Did you miss Tuesday’s blogger meetup but still want in on some of the DC Fashion Week fun? If so, there are several events in the next week I’m excited about and had to share.

DC Fashion Week continues through Sunday. Check out their site for more information on the events below.

• Friday, February 25, 2011 – Corjor International Fashion Show at Mood Lounge
• Saturday, February 26, 2011 – Washington Menswear Collections Fashion Show at the Washington Post Conference Center
• Sunday, February 27, 2011 – International Couture Collections Fashion Show at the Embassy of France

Another event I am really excited about is Solas Nua‘s showcase of new Irish designers on Monday, February 28th. The Paisean Faisean event will include seven Irish designers styled by local mavens, Birds of a Pleather and will feature a guest performance by the phenomenal Julie Feeney. Sounds amazing, right?

Also, if you haven’t already bought your tickets for the District Sample Sale, I suggest you do so immediately! This season’s event is Tuesday, March 29th and is always one of my favorite shopping occasions. In addition to amazing deals, funds raised benefit the E.L. Haynes Public Charter school this spring. Great shopping for a great cause? No brainer.
