Take The Plunge

Surely you’ve seen plenty of maxi skirt posts by now (if not, check out this great one from Wit & Whimsy) -  while I love the idea, I don’t always love how it’s executed. My favorite styles are those that are simple, not too tight, and casual. As it’s put in Elle UK’s February 2011 issue, “spring/summer 2011 sees the rise, or rather fall, of the hemlines as designers concentrate on below-the-knee to floor-skimming skirts and trousers. To wear it well, eschew pattern and fuss. Let the length say it all.” Yeah. What they said.

    Adore maxi skirts! I have several vintage chiffon ones sitting in my closet begging to be worn. Perhaps an even will come up in which it would be acceptable to show one off.
