Easter Weekend

So I meant to be really productive this weekend and get caught up on my to-do list, but instead, I had an absolutely amazing weekend relaxing with friends.

Our Easter brunch was one of the best I’ve ever had! Our hostess decorated the table, complete with flowers, menus, peep place cards and a white chocolate capitol centerpiece. We ate civet de mouton, lemon chicken, baked macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, asparagus, peas and some delicious cupcakes and pie – not to mention all the mimosas and wine! Though I wish I could have been with my family, this was truly the next best thing. And after all, aren’t our friends our family away from home? Hope you had a wonderful weekend, whatever you did!

What a fabulous Easter! My very first Easter in DC was with friends and though I also missed my family, I was happy to be surrounded by friends.
