Happy Friday!

I hope you’ve had a great week! Today I’m in Virginia wine country for the wedding of one of my best friends. But if you’re in DC you better be at Pink Rocks tonight!

Of all the weddings I’ve been involved with, this one is particularly special. Amanda was the first friend I had in DC – she actually interviewed me (and helped hire me) for my first job. Throughout the years, she and I both braved the single scene together, and while I totally enjoyed it (and still do), she was ready to give up on dating altogether. I told her over and over she just had to meet the right person. I even set her up on a blind date with a doctor my roommate worked with. Today, she’s marrying that doctor. It’s been an incredible romance to watch. Never have I felt so strongly that two people were fated to fall in love. I couldn’t be happier for them both!
