Michael Angel at Hu’s Wear

Last week I had the pleasure of previewing the Resort and Spring 2012 collections from designer Michael Angel at Hu’s Wear in Georgetown. The designer is known for his striking digital prints and vibrant colors, which were displayed beautifully at Hu’s and accompanied by Angel himself. As he walked me through the selection at Hu’s, he explained the inspiration behind each piece and a bit of his background – the Spring 2012 collection was inspired by ancient Egypt and his mother’s home of Cairo. If this designer isn’t already on your radar, I suggest paying him some serious attention! I was absolutely blown away by the beautiful dresses, prints and detail.
