The New Ann Taylor

A new Ann Taylor concept store has opened in DC and to celebrate, we gathered DC area bloggers and threw a party complete with champagne, cupcakes, a fashion show and shopping! The store is the first “new concept” store in the area, and is the latest phase in the brand’s evolution, which started with the revamped collection in Fall 2009.

“The new Ann Taylor is chic and stylish with a more fashion forward direction to address the needs of today’s modern working women,” said Lisa Axelson, the brand’s Head of Design. “Our new concept stores are a reflection of our new fashion direction. They are light, modern, feminine, and designed to showcase the full Ann Taylor collection while making our client feel comfortable and welcome.”

The store looked absolutely glam, with white washed maple hardwood floors and luxurious crystal chandeliers – I especially loved the new fitting rooms and styling lounge area! I think we could have stayed and tried on clothes all evening!
