Cinched Up
Since the post I was planning to put up became problematic (because of photoshop, not this guy, though he did keep me up later than I’d like!), I got some last minute inspiration from this Refinery29 article on cute winter outfits. It not only features some crazy talented DC bloggers, but some great ideas for belting winter layers. I’ve said it before, but I could belt anything - dresses, shirts, slacks, blazers, sweaters and even coats.
And I have Sydney to thank for my favorite way to knot my belts! She also has some great scarf and scarf+belt ideas, perfect for winter layering, which I’ll need now that it’s cold again. Weather, make up your mind!
PS – for more style that makes me smile, check out this perfect pinterest board (if I may say so myself) and check out past posts you may have missed!

I love belts! I don’t really remember what I did before they came to be popular to wear somewhere other than on your pants! I want them in every color :)

I love love love the first outfit! Wishing I could wear boots and coats right now (is 34C here!!!)
That’s how I found Sydney’s blog! I was looking for a tutorial on how knot a belt.
Fabulous inspiration, we definitely gonna need warmer clothes this weekend.
I need to start belting more things…this post is great inspiration!
I totally agree- I’m a self-diagnosed beltaholic. Can’t get enough of that cinched waist look!
I love the cinched look. I keep meaning to experiment with it because it always comes out looking all weird. Do you get that or is it just me?
