It’s Official!

In just over a couple weeks I’ll be headed up to NYC for my very first Fashion Week! I never really imagined this trip would happen, but I’ve been asked to be a part of the Kohl’s “Rock & Republic Reporter Team,” which means I’ll be covering their fashion show and launch party and reporting back to you! And of course, as long as I’m there, I hope to take in as much as I can! If you’re going or have been there before, PLEASE leave me tips and tricks and any advice you can think of! I have a feeling it’s going to be quite the adventure.

Yay! Congratulations! I’m so excited for you. Nothing to be nervous about. Some tips,
1. Get a pair of comfortable shoes!!!
2. Start taking a daily vitamin. You will get run down.
3. It’s not glamorous, but opt for subway over cabs.
4. There are a ton of shows happening in Chelsea and the Meatpacking District so don’t limit yourself to Lincoln Center.
5. Wander to the back of Lincoln Center where the backstage entrances are. The road isn’t blocked off to pedestrian traffic and you will be able to see the designers coming and going as well as celebs and VIPS.

I 100% agree with Emily’s tips! Start taking those vitamins NOW and take plenty of Airborne with you (if you’re a sucker for Airborne, like me). And don’t be afraid to wear flats for the long-term health of your feet. You can still look plenty chic without being in pain!
