Tibi FW 2012

Straight from Christian Siriano, I ran back to Lincoln Center to catch a longtime fave of mine – Tibi. Though by this point I was exhausted, I couldn’t help but get a bit re-energized watching the show. With lots of black, navy, charcoal and pops of deep burgundy and emerald green (and a bit of cobalt), Tibi presented a menswear-inspired collection that any girl would love!  There were plaid suits, metallic fabric, cropped trousers (a fave staple of mine), window pane prints and the most lovely bird print on both skirts and tops. Plus, more boyfriend blazers, knits, and beautiful dresses (especially those in the cream color). Tibi’s Amy Smilovic said she was inspired by the era of The Beatles along with the minimal style of the 90s – does it get any better? Perfect way to end the day!
