Getting named one of Washington’s “Most Pinteresting People” was absolutely the motivation I needed to reorganize my Pinterest boards a bit! And I thought it might be a good occasion to share with you what I pin and why!

I always try to track back to the original source to give credit, as everyone should.

There’s been a lot of talk surrounding Pinterest lately, and as they recently changed their terms of service, I’m hoping everything is improving. That said, I LOVE Pinterest to categorize and store the images that are inspiring me – whether it’s a bedroom I’m loving, a recipe I want to try (most likely a desert, mac n cheese or something simple), hair or makeup inspiration, outfit ideas (now categorized into Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter boards along with Bloggers’ Style), or party tips (who else is throwing tons of bachelorette and bridal parties?). Talk about so much to smile about!

    Congrats! What an awesome honor, and totally agree with you regarding pinterest sourcing; it’s inconsiderate to the creator of the artwork. Beyond inconsiderate… absolutely wrong. ANyway, excited to go check out your boards!

    I am on there, and I am just hearing about these issues of citing things. Normally I try not to post anything without citing and i get upset it i click a pic and nothing shows up. But i’m addicted to it now, i like it better then TUmblr.

    Pinterest is one of my favorite websites to go to these days. I tend to pin recipes I like, outfits that I want to try, planning inspiration, and cool quotes.
