A T.J.Maxx Moment
Yesterday, T.J.Maxx opened it’s 1,000 store right here in DC. One day earlier, I had a chance to preview the store and I was so excited about their selection I braved the crowds and went back yesterday to shop! I was especially impressed with their “Runway” section – Prada, Fendi, Miu Miu, Theory, Vince, Elizabeth and James, Kate Spade and more (plus new items added daily)! I walked away with a gorgeous navy and pink Ali Ro dress, a floral Leifsdottier dress and a pair of Latitude Femme shoes I’m OBSESSED with. ,,,so happy to hear the DC store has “high end” labels available for purchase. i was in NYC this past weekend, visited the tjmaxx flagship store and was disappointed with the merchandise, it just didn’t have much *zing* to it. i’m headed to the DC store on thursday, can’t wait! cheers to another tjmaxx, just what this gal likes…designer labels at an affordable price,,,(smile)

Heading there tomorrow after work and I can’t wait. This might be a weekly trip for me.
AH. I went yesterday after work and I was with someone who was a little overwhelmed by the crowds. I might stop by again today, because I didn’t get to see everything.
This store needs to not be 3 blocks from work AND on the way to my bus stop, because I KNOW I will be in there every day!!

Wow! I am glad to see they’re also getting high end stuff. But they better still have cute cheap things too! I’m still poor haha

Good to know! I need to head over there asap. I’m still mourning the loss of Filene’s Basement downtown, so hopefully this will fill the hole.
I remember when a store first opened up in Iowa. I was 5 y/o. My mom and I busted down those doors!!
