If you caught this Refinery29 story, you know that not only is black and white a big trend for spring, but that it’s one of my favorites. Luckily, my shopping bff convinced me to pick up this white pleated dress at the Metro Center T.J. Maxx - it’s the perfect dress for this heat! For this outfit, I paired it with black accessories (blazer, belt, bag & heels), but you could totally change the look of it with a casual brown belt or all white pieces. Plus, it’s one of my favorite designers and it was a steal!

If you’re like me, and not always super eager for Easter-egg colors and the “happy-go-lucky floral prints” of spring, this is such a great trend to try. And if you are headed out shopping, look for bold black and white pieces you can mix and match (jackets/blazers, shoes, accessories, dresses). Thankfully, they are such classic colors you can really wear them year-round no matter what is on trend!
