Outfit + Occasion: Graduation

When a reader emailed asking some advice on graduation dresses, I thought it would be a great “Outfit + Occasion” post – whether you are graduating yourself or attending the ceremony (or really, just add a hat for horse races!). It’s a bit of a long day and usually outside, so you’ll definitely want to be comfortable. And you need to be on the dressy/demure side but still wear something you’ll love long after the big day.

Try light colors in breathable fabric and avoid silk or other fabrics that would show wrinkles/sweat. Also, while I love an a-line skirt for comfort and a flattering shape, make sure you check that it works under your robe! In addition to the options above, I also love this Cynthia Steffe dress, this Milly one, this Lilly Pulitzer option and this Trina Turk dress – oh, and this kate spade one. Plus, there’s always Rent-the-Runway, which I love! They even have a specific graduation section for ideas!

Hi what program or software do you use to group all your pictures together like you did in the last picture on this post?
