Beach Ready

It may be the end of July already, but I plan on making summer last as long as possible. Maybe a trip to NYC, lots of dinners outside with friends, more pool time, and hopefully, one last weekend at the beach (thinking South Carolina)! Plus, August is perhaps the most relaxing month of summer in DC, so fingers crossed it’s not too hot to enjoy it. But even if it is, the beach seems to make everything better (or pool, if you can’t escape) – so here are just a few ideas to get beach ready!

For beach waves, see Kara’s post on salt spray! This is my go-to summer hairstyle.

And speaking of beach ready, Sally Hansen is hosting a sweepstakes with a chance to win a $5000 shopping spree (I just started using their ouch-relief wax strips and love them)! The contest details can be found here. To win, you can join the sweepstakes, and you can also enter the Take it Off, Show Off contest – there will be 7 “show off” challenges throughout the summer, with seven chances to win.  Each challenge will have 5 winners, and they will each receive $100 worth of Sally Hansen products. Not a bad summer prize!

Love all the big floppy hats I’m seeing!

[…] As I mentioned earlier, I’m planning on making summer last as long as possible. Totally necessary to accomplish that? Great tunes. See below for some of my favorite songs right now, find the playlist on spotify, and do tell – what are you fave end-of-summer jams? […]
