Red Carpet Style – Oscars
Did you watch the Oscars last night? I always look forward to it! Between Ellen delivering pizza and all the fantastic acceptance speeches, I thought it was a pretty good show. I also loved all the dresses on the red carpet, of course! Especially since there was lots of black and whites/neutrals again… I think Charlize Theron was my absolute fave, followed closely by Kate Hudson, Cate Blanchett, Angelina Jolie, and Julia Roberts. And there was some color – I loved JLaw in red Dior and Lupita in icy blue Prada.

Even though there was a bit more color at the Golden Globes (along with lots of blushy/nude neutrals and classic black!) and a bit more metallic at the Grammys, I think the dresses from the Oscars are my favorite from the entire awards season. There’s just always a bit more drama – whether it’s Julia’s lace, Charlize’s stunning silhouette, or Kate’s old Hollywood glamour. Thankfully, if you feel like recreating any of these looks, black and white is a totally easy look to copy – and such a classic one! Might I suggest trying out some black lace tops (love this one and this one too) or embellished neutral blouses (like this one). Or of course, any little black dress would do (and you can never go wrong). And check out more of my picks below for just a few additional ways you can make this #oneofakindstyle your own!

Awards season may be over, but I’ve got my fingers crossed for warmer weather and the chance to wear pretty dresses myself without having to bundle up! Thanks for letting me share my red carpet recaps and #oneofakindstyle ideas!
