Tulum Travel Guide
If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’ve been obsessing over my Tulum trip. I’d been interested in visiting for awhile now, ever since seeing a few blog posts and some amazing photos, and it honestly did not disappoint. In fact, it was even better than I’d hoped! The beaches were absolutely beautiful, food and drinks were fantastic, and everything just felt eclectic/relaxed/eco-chic somehow, especially our home/hotel while we were there – Ahau Tulum. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We did yoga in the morning, stayed right on the beach, and easily walked to our favorite restaurants.

The Tulum ruins were also a great way to spend an early morning. Afterwards, we went to a few cenotes (google these – it’s a must do, in my opinion!) and grabbed lunch on the beach.

Regardless of where you stay, you can stop into the different hotels on the beach for drinks and food. Be Tulum was definitely a favorite – it was seriously breathtaking.

And there is just no shortage of restaurants. We didn’t get to every one that was on my list (not enough time!) but we came pretty close! Casa Jaguar was right near our hotel, so we went there a couple times and really enjoyed it. We only went to Casa Banana for drinks, but it looked amazing and I’ve heard very good things. Finally, we absolutely loved our meals at Gitano, Hartwood, and Posada Margherita. When possible, we made reservations in advance (basically necessary for Hartwood), and it’s helpful to know that most spots only take cash.

You can find more in my Instagram highlights, and I’d definitely recommend checking out some of the blog posts that helped me plan my trip: The Stripe, Glitter Guide, Damsel In Dior, and DesignLoveFest, to start. But really, it’s just an amazing trip that I highly recommend taking!
