Last week, I stopped by the private opening event for the new Anthropologie store in Penn Quarter. Located right at F and 10th Streets NW, the new location is a beautiful (and extremely convenient) addition to their Georgetown store! There were so many pieces I was eyeing, and judging from the line to the fitting room, I wasn’t the only one! Luckily, part of the proceeds from the evening benefiting the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative – talk about a warm welcome!

Not that I’m going to be needing a swimsuit anytime soon, but the April Anthropologie lookbook has me wanting to do some serious swimwear shopping. Too bad my only vacations are to Wisconsin… also, must. stop. eating chocolate chip cookies and Easter candy. Thanks for foiling my healthy eating, mom. (Seriously though, thanks – I love you!)
