A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of trying out ScratchDC, which is an amazing local service that delivers all the ingredients you need (already prepped, chopped, measured, etc.) with a super easy-to-follow recipe so you can quickly cook a seriously delicious meal. I’m no chef, so when I successfully made spinach and goat cheese ravioli with a portabella parmesan wine sauce, I was completely sold.

There is no membership, and you can even order the same day (if they don’t sell out). Plus, all the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced organic. Today’s meal? Pan Seared Eggplant and Lamb Roll-Ups w/ Homemade Tzatziki, Feta and Greek Side Salad. And the menu updates each week!

Sauza Patio Party

It’s the weekend! And I don’t know about you, but I plan on spending as much of it as possible in the sun with great girlfriends and cold margaritas. You may remember this post featuring Sauza tequila (and some Cinco de Mayo party ideas). Well I recently tried their new sparkling margaritas, and they are pretty amazing. Plus, I love Sauza’s idea for a patio party (find inspiration on their Pinterest page here). I’m thinking lots of desserts, light food and sparkling margaritas need to happen this weekend.

I can’t believe April is almost over. Thankfully, it’s going to be a great couple of weeks!
