I have to admit, it was pretty fun to go back through old posts and see what I was up to all year! So without further ado, here’s a quick end-of-year recap…</p> <p><a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/navajo2.jpg"><span class="lost-photo" role="img" aria-label="photograph not archived">photograph not archived</span></a></p> <p>About this time last year, I was obsessing over <a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/2011/01/navajo-inspired/" target="_blank">navajo prints</a>, <a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/2011/01/floppy-hats/ " target="_blank">floppy hats</a> and <a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/2011/01/wide-leg-jeans/" target="_blank">wide-leg jeans</a>. But my go-to outfit will always be <a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/2011/03/crop-and-roll/ " target="_blank">cropped pants and heels</a>. What can I say? I know what I love! As early as April, I was also <a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/2011/04/considering-loafers/" target="_blank">loving loafers</a> (and finally bought a pair myself this fall). And in May, I had an amazing time hosting a <a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/2011/05/after-5-event/" target="_blank">Banana Republic event</a> with some of my favorite DC bloggers. By summer, I was focused on <a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/2011/03/coachella-style/ " target="_blank">Coachella style</a>, <a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/2011/04/summer-summer-summertime/" target="_blank">summertime outfits</a>, and <a href="http://somuchtosmileabout.com/2011/06/adirondack-essentials/" target="_blank">a trip to the Adirondacks</a>. The three-day event is in its 36th year and features over 250 emerging and established artisans from around the country and their creations, which include ceramics, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, furniture and home décor, fine art and photography. They’ll also have demonstrations, live music and food and drink samples to enjoy.
