There are seriously so many fall things I’m craving right now, it’s getting a little ridiculous. Cozy sweaters, lacy bralettes, new coats, puffy vests… plus, with the holiday weekend, most of the items below are on sale! Too bad I still have to go in to work on Monday, but hopefully some of you will get to enjoy a day off!

Banana Republic Fall

I’ve been a loyal fan of Banana Republic for some time now (evidence here and here) but I think this fall collection takes it to a whole new level (of note: J.Crew alum Marissa Webb was named the new creative director and executive vice president of design last spring). You can shop a few pieces early here, and the whole collection goes live tomorrow! Also, a couple weeks ago I picked up this skirt, this skirt, and these pumps, and am seriously obsessed. Forever 21 Tysons

Over the weekend, Forever 21 opened a newly remodeled and expanded store (over 26,627 square feet) at their Tyson’s Corner location (1961 Chain Bridge Rd). And it’s just in time for fall! I’m loving their fall collection (see below), which features trends like oversized, luxe boho, minimalist and textured, with lots of knits in camels and grays, plus prints. Also, don’t miss The Outerwear Edit, featuring Anja Rubik.

The temperature may be changing from cool to warmer to cool again, but it’s definitely still fall and I’m definitely dreaming of flared jeans and fun prints these days. Cozy sweaters, hats and comfy scarves go perfectly together with perfect sunglasses, gold nails and cute booties. I love it all!

Pumpkin Picking

Sooo… I love October! The air is crisp and chilly, there are pumpkins and orange leaves, Halloween and my BIRTHDAY (on the 29th, in case you’re curious – eeeee). It’s a great month. And there are some seriously great things to shop right now too, like contrast sleeve jackets, stripes and faux fur, and lots of skulls and bats that are perfect for the season! Oh, October… you’re the best.

October Style Essentials

Rarely is it colder in DC than it is in Wisconsin, but it was so chilly when I got off the plane yesterday! Fall is definitely here! October is my favorite month and I am so excited for things like dark nails, rose gold accessories, plum colored clothing and lots of jackets (also, my birthday)! Maxis For Fall

With the heat we’ve had in DC this summer, I haven’t had a chance to wear any maxis, but I’m loving these looks for weekend brunches or walks around the city this fall. And when it’s even cooler, you can just throw on a light jacket and some ankle boots a la Olivia Wilde or a denim jacket like Blake Lively. And Pippa Middleton recently dressed up a maxi with wedges and a jacket (though I don’t love that ruffled bottom).

Kelly Wearstler is best known for her interior designs (she’s the designer behind Bergdorf’s eatery, BG, and bauble boxes for sale in the home-furnishings department) but I recently stumbled upon her debut clothing collection via b for bonnie. How adorable are the full skirts, mixed prints and pops of color? According to Style.com, the collections will be nicely priced and will be available on Bergdorf’s fifth floor with other contemporary labels. If you’re not already familiar with Kelly, check out her blog, which is also wonderful.
