Did you miss Tuesday’s blogger meetup but still want in on some of the DC Fashion Week fun? If so, there are several events in the next week I’m excited about and had to share.

DC Fashion Week continues through Sunday. Check out their site for more information on the events below.

Friday, February 25, 2011 – Corjor International Fashion Show at Mood Lounge
Saturday, February 26, 2011 – Washington Menswear Collections Fashion Show at the Washington Post Conference Center
Sunday, February 27, 2011 – International Couture Collections Fashion Show at the Embassy of France

Another event I am really excited about is Solas Nua‘s showcase of new Irish designers on Monday, February 28th. The Paisean Faisean event will include seven Irish designers styled by local mavens, Birds of a Pleather and will feature a guest performance by the phenomenal Julie Feeney. Sounds amazing, right?

Valentine’s Day is less that a week away – even if you don’t have a significant other to celebrate with, it’s a great opportunity to tell our family and friends how much they mean to us. In the words of Sydney Smith, “Life is to be fortified by many friendships. To love and to be loved is the greatest happiness of existence.” To my friends and family, I love you so much!
