Since my last post, I finished finals (and the spring semester!), took the absolute best trip to Napa and San Francisco (see photos on Instagram!), and started summer class (bummer). I can’t believe it’s already June! But I couldn’t be more excited. I love summer, and this one, in particular, was/is needed. So to celebrate, here are a few of my favorite summer things right now!

Gift guide? Or all of the things I’m obsessing over right now. Ok, maybe a bit of both! But seriously, I love putting together gift guides, and while I don’t really have the time to do more this year, I had to do something! Also, apparently I’m stuck on neutrals. Aren’t those dresses and bags great? And that watch is just perfect. Plus, you can’t go wrong with anything cozy (pajamas and slippers, please!) or gold!

After a wonderful (and super wintry) Christmas in Wisconsin with my family, I’m back in DC and am gearing up for the new year (and new semester). I hope you had a great few weeks too! And just in case there are a few additional things you are hoping for this holiday season, there are plenty of sales to help out! How to Wear: Pink Jeans

I have to admit, in this heat I haven’t thought much about jeans, but when a friend emailed about how to style her new pair of pink jeans, I jumped at the chance to help. I’ve posted before on colored denim for spring, but I’m really loving all the ways I found to wear hot pink pants in every season (yes, even winter). For now, I think it looks perfect with a striped top and bright bag, chambray and leopard, peach and gold chains, or with a black tee and boucle jacket. I’m also loving this ensemble via the Budget Babe. Right?

Outfit + Occasion: New Job

A new job is the perfect occasion to go through your work wardrobe and step it up a bit, don’t you think? I know after three years at the same job, I’ve gotten pretty comfortable with my attire and it may be time to reevaluate! First place to start, tear apart my closet. Second? Sneakers For Spring
