With the heat we’ve had in DC this summer, I haven’t had a chance to wear any maxis, but I’m loving these looks for weekend brunches or walks around the city this fall. And when it’s even cooler, you can just throw on a light jacket and some ankle boots a la Olivia Wilde or a denim jacket like Blake Lively. And Pippa Middleton recently dressed up a maxi with wedges and a jacket (though I don’t love that ruffled bottom).

It’s getting a bit cooler out and fall is just around the corner, right? Perhaps not, but I can’t help but think of everything I want to have for fall! I can’t wait for sweaters, silk blouses, saturated colors, maxi skirts, flared jeans and more!
