If you follow me on instagram (@ejfass) you may have seen a few of these images already. And while I’m planning to post on the new products in more detail next week, I wanted to quickly share some of what I loved from the beauty lines at Neiman Marcus. I especially adored all the new colors (plums, pinks, teals, blacks and browns), pretty fragrances and the big beauty trend for fall – cherry red lips!

Spring Trends At Neimans

Earlier this month I previewed the spring beauty trends from Neiman Marcus, and yesterday, I sat down to a breakfast and overview of the spring trends across home, clothing, accessories and more. I’ve already talked about some trends you can expect for spring (neon, pale colors, aquatic/Atlantis and 20s/Gatsby inspiration), but it can’t hurt to reexamine, right? Oh I can’t wait for warmer weather!

Maybe it’s a bold neon pink (my preference) or a shade more soft and pale, but pinks and corals are major colors for spring – good news for girly girls everywhere!
Another color for spring will be yellow, which Ken Downing has dubbed the “new neutral” – as an accent or head to toe, it’s the perfect sunny shade.
Sports influences/scuba inspiration means wetsuit inspired dresses, sporty piping, baseball jackets and more.
Tribal looks (a graphic melding of African and Art Deco) are another spring trend I’m loving – try prints, rich colors, and wood accessories for global glam!
What would spring be with prints?! Obviously florals will be big, but I also love watercolor prints, polka dots, and graphics. And don’t be afraid to mix prints!
Speaking of prints, fancy pants (colorful and printed) are here and sticking around for spring. Love this!
I’m typically a gold girl, but this spring might have to try out silver, especially for shoes. The modern metal is spring’s great equalizer for day and night!
A clutch is always important, but especially for spring. Grab hold of this handbag trend in every color of the rainbow!
I still love statement necklaces, but couldn’t be more excited for the return of bold, dramatic earrings. Wear colorful stones and dangling drops to make a statement.
The spring face: try a pale pink pout and a face framing bold brow for a modern and feminine look.

We may still be in the middle of Fall/Winter fashion weeks, but it’s hard not to look forward to spring! Thankfully, last week I was invited to an event at Neiman Marcus where we previewed the spring beauty trends and learned about the latest products and technologies from your favorite beauty and skincare lines. I love all the pinks, rose golds, bright oranges and amazing new skincare products out there!

Beauty At Neiman Marcus

Last night I had the pleasure of attending a fall beauty event at Neiman Marcus Mazza Gallerie where I met with beauty brand experts to hear all about the latest products, color trends and technology. I was already a huge fan of several of the vendors there, including Laura Mercier (miracle tinted moisturizer), Le Metier de Beaute (can’t live without their eyeliner), and Clarisonic (use my Mia every day). Other vendors I was less familiar with, but I learned so much more about them.
