Even though female fashion is my main interest, my male readers/friends keep asking for a post for them – and I have to say, a well-dressed man does make me smile (right, ladies?). Luckily, the online shopping site Mr. Porter, Net-a-Porter‘s male counterpart, launched last month and inspired me to finally put something together for the boys. And, oh, the man that shops here will be a good looking man. In addition to putting together outfits, Mr. Porter also has style advice, how-to manuals, articles, a glossary, and a great new list of the top 32 classic items every man should own for spring and summer. Below are just a few of my picks off that list, which includes essential items like the blue suit, trench, blue blazer, grey trousers, chinos, sweaters and more. Keep in mind if the prices are a bit high, you can apply the same style advice and find similar items at stores like Banana Republic, Gap, and J.Crew. So get shopping, guys, and make the ladies smile!
