You already know how much I love Old Navy, and just in time for a weekend at the pool (hello, sun!), they are having a sale on all their swimwear! I love all the bright colors and prints – plus, they all are perfect for mixing and matching. I rarely wear a bikini top with the “correct” bottom. It’s so much more fun (and leaves you with more options) to buy a few different pieces to pair. Although, a black one piece is definitely on my wish list! Do you have any swim shopping to do? The Old Navy sale is on until June 27th!

One of the highlights of my weekend was relaxing by the pool on a perfect sunny afternoon. It was the exact right temperature, I had a good book to read and my roomie to keep me company! Hope you had some fun this weekend too!

Beach Bag Essentials

According to Allure, their summer beach bag essentials include “movie-star shades,” waterproof mascara, flat sandals, a gauzy scarf, floppy hat, sunscreen, tinted lip balm, hair texturizer, one-piece swimsuit, and a woven tote. I also never forget a bottle of water, good book, and my iPhone/earphones. What do you throw in your beach bag?

Not that I’m going to be needing a swimsuit anytime soon, but the April Anthropologie lookbook has me wanting to do some serious swimwear shopping. Too bad my only vacations are to Wisconsin… also, must. stop. eating chocolate chip cookies and Easter candy. Thanks for foiling my healthy eating, mom. (Seriously though, thanks – I love you!)
