If you follow me on twitter or instagram, you know I’m currently enjoying many, many inches (like, 16) of snow in Wisconsin. Needless to say, we are going to have a very, very white Christmas here. So I’ve got winter white on the brain. And I’m absolutely loving the idea of wearing white all year round! Right?!

DC finally got some snow to stick – though not very much at all! Regardless, every state in the country has snow right now, except Florida, so I thought these images were appropriate. Now, who wants to go to Florida with me?

Black Swan

Last week, after a lot of commotion and rave reviews, I went to see Black Swan – and have been unable to stop thinking about it since. It was such a dark, forceful film, and yet, so very beautiful. With costumes designed by Rodarte (40 pieces including the tutus, leotards and even legwarmers) and a gorgeous cast (Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey), that’s not surprising – what was surprising, was the dramatic and haunting intensity that accompanied it, supported by Tchaikovsky’s incredible score.
